- Parking: There are roughly 150 spots. The main lot by Harris Teeter is easiest for a first pass. If it looks tight, drive around back of the buildings, where quieter lots often go unnoticed. No overnight parking anywhere in the Village.
- Restrooms: Two hidden public restrooms are worth knowing about. One is in the courtyard behind Java Java and Indigo Books, and the other is on the second floor above SeaCoast Sports and Outfitters (elevator access available).
- Pets: Freshfields is dog-friendly. Look for the pet-friendly decal on shop windows and use the waste-bag stations around the Green.
